Divided House: Tinubu banners removed from APC’s secretariat (Look)

Tinubu banners removed – The internal crisis within the All Progressives Congress (APC) seems far from over as a report by Punch has it that posters and banners of former Lagos State Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which had adorned several sections of the APC National Saecretariat in Abuja have suddenly disappeared.



The banners, which were previously pasted beside those of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo are said to have been taken down, although it is yet to be known who authorized the removal.Meanwhile the APC National Working Committee met on Thursday, June 18, 2015 to trash out bad blood generated as a result of the House of Assembly election.According to reports, the meeting ended in a deadlock as none of the opposing sides was willing to shift ground.When approached for comments after the meeting, the National Chairman of the party, John Odigie-Oyegun said: “We will meet again tomorrow (Friday, June 19, 2015) to continue.”
