7. Seal – Facial Scars

Besides automatically starting to hum “Kiss From A Rose,” the first thing that comes to mind when talking about Seal are his facial scars. No, he didn’t fight a tiger, nor was he burned. In fact, Seal was born with DLE (Discoid Lupus Erythematsus) a condition that creates sores and scars on the face and/or scalp. I think we can all agree that this may have been one of the more challenging conditions to grow up with as we all know that children have no filter and take pleasure in pointing out the obvious. Clearly it didn’t stop him from following his dreams as an artist. Way to go Seal!
