3. The Linguistics/ Diversity
There are more languages being spoken in New York City on a daily basis than most people hear in their entire lifetime. Approximately 49% of all New Yorkers speak something besides English; from Spanish to French, Creole, Armenian and Yiddish. New York City is truly a universal melting pot of different cultures and languages. Since there is such a variety of languages spoken, it comes as no surprise that there are countless different kinds of restaurants you can indulge in throughout the city. From delicious French cuisine to mouth watering Cuban food, New York City is filled with variety.
