For instance, Mayweather has been accused of domestic violence on more than one occasion, and there are also reports that he is extremely behind on child support. Not to mention the fact that he’s gotten into some pretty hot water with other celebrities due to his behavior and inflammatory comments. Recently, Mayweather faced some criticism when he fought against Manny Pacquiao, since some felt as though the boxing match was boring at best. Of course, supporters of Mayweather state that he’s been boxing for quite some time, so it’s only natural for him to get tired sometimes. Still, it’s hard to defend someone who often talks about how much money he has, and behaves as though he deserves to be worshipped. In the same way that Mayweather has been overly vocal about his success and money, some celebrities have been just as vocal about how much they can’t stand the celebrity boxer. Skip Bayless Skip Bayless has been making his hate for Floyd Mayweather known since the start of the sports show First Take, years ago. It has been reported that Bayless has beef with Mayweather because the boxer stole Bayless’ woman years ago. Skip, who is a sports commentator, has also made his way into the news again by stating that Manny Pacquiao actually won the high-publicized fight against Mayweather by a landslide. Of course, Bayless is known for saying things that he knows will cause conflict. Jimmy Kimmel Talk show host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel made it pretty clear that he was on Manny Pacquiao’s side during the Mayweather/ Pacquiao showdown. Kimmel was even part of Manny’s entourage when the boxer entered the MGM Grand, and sang Pacquiao’s walk-on song. Of course, Jimmy had to take it a step further and said he would dress like Justin Bieber as part of Pacquiao’s posse, in order to poke fun at the actual Justin Bieber and his place in Floyd Mayweather’s entourage. At the boxing match, Kimmel finally settled on an Adidas track suit, similar to the ones Run DMC wore in the 1980s. Becca Tobin Actress Becca Tobin, may have been rooting for Floyd Mayweather before the boxer went head to head with Manny Pacquiao. However, after the fight was over, she Tweeted that even Mayweather’s publicist was disappointed. Tobin likely “said” this because she, like many other celebrities, were bored with the fight. Becca, who is well known for her role as Kitty on Glee , is accustomed to singing, dancing and acting, so maybe that’s why she was bored with such a one-dimensional fight. Compared to some of the other comments celebrities have had about Mayweather, Tobin’s comments were pretty mild. That may have a lot to do with the fact that she was bullied as a kid, so she didn’t want to be too hard on anyone else in the public eye. 9. Elizabeth Banks Actress Elizabeth Banks is known for her role in The Hunger Games , and for her long-standing stint on the comedy 30 Rock . She’s also apparently a fan of boxing, but she made her displeasure with Floyd Mayweather known after his fight with Pacquiao. Tickets to watch the fight live were pretty expensive, and people who wanted to watch it in the comfort of their own homes had to pay $100 to view the boxing match. Banks Tweeted that Mayweather “bored her out of $100” but also stated that he was an incredible fighter. So, maybe Banks wasn’t trying to be mean, but she did want to get her point across. He sent out a Tweet expressing his disappointment, which stated that while he was out of $100, Mayweather made $100 million for the fight by running around the boxing ring for 12 rounds. Sixx called the match a “track meet.” When Nikki Sixx isn’t giving his colorful commentary about how unimpressed he is about Floyd Mayweather’s fighting skills, he’s busy being known as the main songwriter for Motley Crue, the band he co-founded and plays bass guitar for. Nikki Sixx is also a radio host and co-founder of the clothing brand Royal Underground. 7. Mario Lopez Saved By the Bell alum and entertainment reporter, Mario Lopez stated that he was underwhelmed by Mayweather’s fight with Pacquiao. Perhaps Lopez was so disappointed because he actually got VIP tickets to the boxing match, and, like a few other celebs, referred to the event as a “track meet.” Mario even partnered with the company FanBacked in order to give boxing fans a chance to win tickets to what had been deemed the “fight of the century.” Of course, the prize package also included a meet and greet with Mario Lopez, which is likely what drove some people to enter the contest in the first place. Shantel Jackson The actress and model was once in a relationship with Floyd Mayweather, but the situation was rocky for quite some time. Things got so bad that Jackson actually sued Mayweather. The boxer also “proposed” (again) to Shantel via text message in June 2015, stating that he would always love her, but that her attitude sucks. Jackson took proof of this second proposal to court, in an attempt to show that Mayweather is unwilling to cooperate in the legal proceedings. Apparently, the boxer told Jackson that they could get married and she “go back and forth to L.A. and stay at the condo.” Mayweather also stated that he would go to counseling and he’d make sure Jackson got into three A-list movies within a year, but she’d have to change her attitude. How sweet. Shantel is currently dating rapper Nelly, who isn’t a huge fan of Mayweather, either. 5. Andy Cohen Andy Cohen is known for causing trouble with his commentary. In fact, he’s pretty much made a career out of it, which is why we have the Bravo network. When the Mayweather/ Pacquiao fight was going on, Cohen stated that the memes going around about Denzel Washington would be more entertaining than the boxing match. Obviously, Andy’s comments were a way to poke fun at Mayweather publicly without saying anything that could get him…well, punched in the face. So when he stated that he was “underwhelmed” by Mayweather’s fight with Manny Pacquiao, we’re pretty sure no one was arguing with him. Tyson Tweeted “we waited 5 years for that?” which pretty much sums out how a lot of celebrities felt about the uneventful fight. It’s also safe to assume that Floyd Mayweather wasn’t too happy with the Tweet, since it’s kind of embarrassing for another boxing legend to give such negative commentary. Tyson also referred to Mayweather as a “very small, scared man.” This came on the heels of Mayweather comparing himself and alluding to the fact that he was better than Muhammad Ali. 3. T.I. Floyd Mayweather has pretty much proven that he doesn’t have social graces or decency when it comes to dealing with women. That’s probably why he was caught blatantly flirting with Tameka “Tiny” Harris, who is rapper T.I.’s wife. Things got so heated that T.I. actually took a swing at Mayweather on the Vegas Strip, and there are several videos to prove it. Luckily, things didn’t get too out of hand, since Mayweather’s hands are considered weapons and he didn’t want any more legal problems on his hands. If the boxer would take that approach when it comes to his romantic relationships, he might find himself in less trouble in the future. In May 2015, it was reported that T.I. congratulated Mayweather on his victory against Pacquiao, which meant that the two had probably squashed their beef. 2. Nelly Rapper Nelly and Floyd Mayweather have gone back and forth in terms of challenging each other’s manhood. Nelly has made statements about the fact that Shantel Jackson, his current girlfriend, has moved on to a better man (he’s referring to himself), after having to endure the hardship of being with Mayweather. Nelly has also made comments about the fact that Mayweather never finished high school, and stated that it was hard to have a conversation with a guy who is a dropout.
