Dumbest criminals of 2015 – Despite what you might think, most criminals are not masterminds. The old saying that crime doesn’t pay makes some sense when it comes right down to it. Sure there are some that break the law over and over again, and make millions and never get caught, but most of them are kind of stupid.

Every year thousands of people break the law, and every year thousands of people get caught, but some stand out over the rest as being incredibly stupid. This list is proof positive that a lot of people get arrested just because they are idiots.
This year had some of the dumbest criminals yet. In all seriousness, what were some of these people thinking? The old saying “Don’t do the crime, if you can’t do the time”, doesn’t even apply to these people. This list is more like “Don’t do the crime if you are a complete and total idiot.”
There are all sorts of crimes on this list from all over the world. Some of these crimes are kind of serious, while others are just some idiot screwing around, but there is one thing all of the criminals on this list share: they all have an extremely low I.Q. Stay in school kids, don’t do drugs, and by all means don’t be as stupid as these people.
Here is our list of the 10 Dumbest Criminals of 2015.
10. Jail Escapee Arrested After Posting Vacation Photos On Instragram
Number 10 on the list of not so smart criminals is Nicholas Grove. He escaped from county jail in Idaho by scaling a fence and went on the run. He might still be running now if he didn’t post a bunch of photos of himself on social media. He not only posted photos on Instagram, but then bragged about his escape on Facebook. He was arrested at a resort in Mexico in November of 2015 after posting a bunch of selfies to his Instragram. “Social media certainly played a role originally because this particular individual bragged about his escape on Facebook,” U.S. Marshal Brian Underwood said. Yeah dummy, not a good idea.
