It must also be noted that any amount of coffee is not all that great for you if you add sugar and high-calorie creamers that contain a plethora of harmful ingredients to the drinks. The truth of the matter is that coffee is healthiest when it is consumed black.
It turns out that, as of the posting of this piece, coffee is once again on the list of foods that could have health benefits for you. Some of those benefits are as simple as feeling more comfortable while you are completing your work day at a cubicle or inside of your office. Others, however, could be more long-term and even keep you alive longer. Drink up, coffee lovers, but remember that old saying: Too much of anything – coffee in this instance – could be a bad thing. Coffee should probably not be the only liquid that you drink seven days a week.
10. Ease Back Pain
Feeling a little stiff and sore while sitting at the office? Get up and grab a fresh cup of coffee. Not only will moving about help to loosen up some muscles. Drinking coffee has, per BMC Research Notes, helped to alleviate pain in the lower back for some people. Coffee alone will probably not completely eliminate your back pain, and you may find that you need to see a specialist about the matter. If you are a little sore from sitting in front of a computer during an eight-hour work day, however, you could find that a cup of coffee could be just the cure that you need.
