9. Antioxidants
You likely learned in school how important it is to have a diet that is filled with foods that contain antioxidants. Eating your fruits and vegetables can be important for achieving this goal. According to researchers at the University of Scranton (Pennsylvania), coffee is not only filled with antioxidants. Coffee is, per that study, “the number one source of antioxidants in the U.S. diet.” Assuming that the study was not flawed and that the information that was learned from it is accurate, that study would explain why coffee has been linked with other health benefits.
