2. Cyndi Lauper
All of the ladies on this list are hot, but there’s no question the most important celebrity in the history of WrestleMania was Cyndi Lauper. WrestleMania I may have been headlined by Mr. T, but it was Lauper who sparked the Rock and Wrestling connection that lead to WWE exploding in popularity, allowing Vince McMahon to take over the world in the 1980’s. Lauper appeared with her manager/boyfriend David Wolfe in the corner of Wendi Richter during her WWE Women’s Championship bout against Leilani Kai. Throughout the year prior, Lauper and Richter waged war against The Fabulous Moolah and Captain Lou Albano in one of wrestling’s hottest feuds.
