While I would never do it personally (I'm not one that likes to share), and while it seems very odd to me, if it works for those involved I don't see a problem with it. No. In the countries where it's legal, it doesn't seem to add anything of value to the lives of the marriage partners, or to their children. It usually fosters jealousy and competition in the home, the one place that should be a safe haven (especially for children).
