3. Leatherface
As far as horror movie franchises go, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one that should be remembered for being good, but aside from the original 1974 movie, there were few good things about the franchise. The killer in these movies, is known as Leatherface, who wears masks made from the skin of his human victims who he later goes on to eat. This new entry in the franchise, simply titled Leatherface, is being directed by two people with relatively little directorial experience, and is supposed to serve as an origin story for the chainsaw wielding cannibal. The problem facing this movie though, is that the franchise as a whole has never been a huge money maker to begin with; combine that with the fact that audiences do not tend to enjoy watching these sorts of origin stories (Leatherface will be a teenager in this movie), and this movie is already poised to take huge loss at the box office.
