2. The Godfather
WWE may have recently inducted The Godfather into the Hall of Fame, but given their current PG standards, it’s unlikely he’ll be saying his full catchphrase any time soon. During the Attitude Era, quite a few wrestlers had long opening spiels they included before every match. Other popular examples included The New Age Outlaws or Konnan in WCW, and while we already covered the fact Road Dogg might’ve been high during his intro, he didn’t refer to it as blatantly as The Godfather did. No, Godfather wasn’t necessarily smoking himself, but he did implore his fans to “Roll up a fatty for their pimp daddy, light that bitch up and say pimpin’ ain’t easy.” He wasn’t saying he was going to beat Viscera with a Small Package later—he was telling everyone to smoke some weed, and chances are plenty of his fans took him up on the offer. And the biggest fan of all?
