7. Bugatti Chiron – Afrojack
Whether this is sheer rumor or not is hard to say but, if it’s true, the Dutch DJ who goes by the nameAfrojack has been doing quite well for himself considering that he was able to drop about $2.5 million on the Bugatti Chiron. However, when you consider that the estimated horsepower is over 1,500, it just goes to show that sometimes, power comes with a price. With those 1,500 horses, you get a top speed of about 284mph, which is absolutely fantastic when you’re living in Europe – considering that their speed limits are nothing compared to what we have here in North America. So, you’ll be able to take full advantage of this limited edition super car in those parts.
6. 1964 Aston Martin DB5 – Elle Macpherson
Elle Macpherson must either have a huge passion for James Bond or for cars, considering that she bought the Aston Martin DB5 for $4,302,840! This being said, the 4-litre inline six engine executes 288 foot-pounds of torque and still has an acceptable 282 horsepower, which really isn’t too shabby – especially considering its age. Simply having the ability to go from 0-60 in 8.1 seconds is pretty good when you realize that some of the cars that are even on today’s market can barely compete with those numbers. While it may not be the quickest car in this list, the vintage nature and heritage that is behind it makes up for all of it.
