17. Francesco Totti
Talking about Italian legends that remained faithful to the motherland, what about the legendary Francesco Totti? The oldest player to ever score in a Champions League game, it seems Totti is finally near the end of his career. He began playing for Roma in 1992 and has never left, remaining faithful to the Italian capital after all these years. He’s obviously the most capped player in team history and to this day remains the youngest player to ever be made captain in the Serie A. He’s the second highest goal scorer in the league’s history with 244 goals and counting, although all signs are pointing towards retirement at the end of the season.
