14. Alessando Del Piero
Among footballing legends that hail from Italy, Alessandro Del Piero is perhaps the most prolific. He played the bulk of his career for Juventus as a deep forward, scoring 290 goals for the club. His talent was always limited to Serie A when it came to playing in Europe, the Italian remaining faithful to the club from Turin. Still, he had ability on the ball, his free-kicks, and his sheer creativity and ability to finish would have made him a star in the Premier League. His 346 goals in all competitions makes him the second highest Italian born scorer of all time. Del Piero was truly a player that defined his generation, and took the Azurri to the next level.
