4. BILL CLINTON: 1967 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE
Clinton got his Mustang from his younger brother, Roger. He said it was the hardest item to leave behind when taking office.
Fortunately, he was allowed to drive it once while in office. Clinton drove it about 250 feet, surrounded by security, to commemorate the Mustang’s 30th anniversary in 1994.
5. RONALD REAGAN: 1962 U.S. ARMY JEEP
Nancy Reagan bought her husband a 1962 Army Jeep to drive around their California ranch. It was a later-model military Jeep that eventually led to the civilian Willys Jeeps. The Willys inspired the Jeep Wrangler that we know today.
Along with many other cars, Reagan also owned a red Subaru Brat. Reportedly, he drove it around his ranch as a work truck and provided Subaru with performance reviews. He had to keep it a secret, because assisting a Japanese auto company was not favorable at the time, especially for a U.S. President.
