6. Tiffani Thiessen and Jennie Garth
For a time, stars of Beverly Hills, 90210, Tiffany Thiessen and Jennie Garth were the best of friends. They were two of the hottest celebrities walking and were on one of the biggest shows on television, but then they stopped talking suddenly. Thiessen explained the rift between the two on The Howard Stern Show, saying, “It’s funny, our relationship started really rough and ended the way it started.” She went on to say that, at first, the girls on the cast “were not very nice to me.” Stern prodded for her to go into more detail, but Thiessen didn’t reveal much, only stating, “We had a falling out and we grew apart… I was the one who was hurt, let’s just say that. I was the one who was hurt.”
5. Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan
There were some sour faces around Live with Kelly and Michael when co-host Michael Strahan left the show. In May 2016, Strahan left Kelly Ripa alone on the show and there was substantial backlash, including comments from Ripa about respect in the workplace. Well, Strahan has come out and talked about the fallout, saying, “The most disappointing thing to me was that I was painted as the bad guy, because I value the way I carry myself… I don’t want people to see me as ‘Oh, he just ran out, just left them there.’ That’s just not true.” When asked about the relationship between the two, Strahan said, “At one point I think we were friends. I don’t know what happened at the end.” Well, whatever happened, the tension between the two was palpable on set for a while, so many people saw the writing on the wall.
