Oba Saheed Elegushi Celebrates Honorary Doctorate Degree

Elegushi of Ikateland, His Royal Majesty Oba Saheed Elegushi, Kusenla III, has celebrated the conferment of a honorary doctorate degree on him by Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State.

The Lagos monarch was conferred the Honorary Doctor of Public Administration degree on Saturday during the institution’s 17th convocation ceremony.

Oba Elegushi shared pictures of himself on Instagram on Monday dressed in the institution’s convocation gown.

“It was an honour to be recognised by the premier private university in Nigeria, the Igbinedion University. Over the weekend, I was conferred with an honorary doctorate degree in Public Administration…,” he wrote.

Others who were awarded honorary degrees were former President Goodluck Jonathan; Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, among others.

Omotola also celebrated the feat on Instagram.
