Floyd Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his three children, was found dead at her home Monday night just outside Los Angeles.
40-year-old Josie Harris was pronounced dead after being discovered in a car outside her home in Valencia, CA, according to TMZ Sports.
Sheriff’s deputies had been called to the home just after 9:30 PM and pronounced Harris dead at the scene. As for now, officials are handling the case as a death investigation and not considering Harris’ death a homicide.
A few years ago, Mayweather did an interview in which he spoke about Harris’ claims, saying “Did I restrain a woman that was on drugs? Yes, I did. So if they say that’s domestic violence, then, you know what? I’m guilty. I’m guilty of restraining someone.”
Mayweather has yet to comment on Harris’ death. Stay tuned for updates on this case as we will be sure to bring them to you.
