A Reverend father, Kelvin Ugwu, has taken to his Twitter page to slam people who are against polygamy, stating that they are pretenders.
He claimed that people who are against polygamy are now wishing to be Ned Nwoko’s next wife.

He advised them to stop pretending and say the truth as nobody would beat them.
He added that what people hate isn’t polygamy, but the poor polygamists.
In his words:
“Those shouting that they hate polygamy are now wishing to be Ned Nwoko’s next wife. Say the truth and nobody will beat you, what you hate is not polygamy but poor polygamists. What you abhor is not old men, but poor old men.”
Reacting to the post, Fredrick Vera Cent wrote: “Yes, you can’t love polygamy and be poor. If you want such pleasure, then be sure to work for it as a man.”
