Protesters in Warri, Delta state, have grown more aggressive over the lingering naira scarcity in the country.
In a video, people were seen setting ATMs abl*ze, some broke various items owned by banks, and others went as far as climbing billboards to remove electoral candidates’ campaign posters.
The protest started weeks ago after CBN banned the use of old Naira notes as legal tender
Reacting to the video, stanbnx wrote: “I understand their feelings, having money without having access to your money can make one go “krazi” but to be honest destroying things won’t make it better, Our government are usually not moved by actions like this, let’s be guided.”
Kiddiesroyale said: “How will we now get the cash when we are burning banks na we go feel am pass because big man no dey go bank.”
Sailorojay added: “If all this is happening before election what then would happen during election and after?? Meinn God I put Nigeria in your hands 000.”
