The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), led by veteran actor Bolaji Amusan, also known as Mr Latin, has clarified why it has not yet reached a decision regarding the case of actor Shoneye Olamilekan’s assault on his female colleague, Temidayo Morakinyo.
TAMPAN stated that it has not made a decision on the matter because it wants to gather all the facts surrounding the altercation and avoid acting based on social media reactions alone.
The association emphasized the need for a thorough investigation before reaching a conclusion.In a detailed statement titled “THE POSITION OF TAMPAN ON SHONEYE OLAMILEKAN,” the association addressed the concerns of netizens regarding their perceived slow response to the allegations.
They explained that Shoneye Olamilekan has been summoned to appear before the disciplinary committee, and his membership to TAMPAN has been revoked.
