GK – Iker Casillas

Real Madrid starting XI – Casillas is one of Madrids biggest servants, and although he has slightly fallen out of favour recently, he’s still world class, as well as also being the club captain, leading the cub to La Decima last season. Diego Lopez is also there, but Casillas will likely be first choice.

RB – Daniel Carvajal

Carvajal has been incredible this season for Madrid, and at only 22, he’s got a huge future ahead of him. After coming through the Madrid youth system, before being sold to Leverkusen, and then bought back, he’s really impressed at the Bernabeu.

CB – Sergio Ramos

One of the best central defenders in the world, Ramos is also the vice-captain of Madrid, and an absolute shoe-in. There should be no doubt that Ancelotti would even consider anybody else for this role, because Ramos is such a massive player for the club.

CB – Raphael Varane

One of the best young players in the world right now, Varane is destined to be one of the worlds best in a few years. Only 19 years old, he’s already making a massive name for himself, and he’s certainly pushing Pepe out the side at the moment.

LB – Marcelo

Another one of the best in the world in his position, Marcelo is amongst the best fullbacks in world football at the moment, arguably even the best, so for Ancelotti, there isn’t a better option for this position. Marcelo will be one of the first names on the team sheet, easily.

CM – Sami Khedira

Khedira is a phenomenal defensive midfielder, and has been brilliant for Real Madrid since joining them 4 years ago. Despite have an injury plagued season last year, he’s expected to be back next season better than ever, and if Madrid are to run smoothly, he is a must on the list.

CM – Luka Modric

Modric struggled in his first season at Madrid, and was actually named ‘Worst La Liga signing of the season’, for 2012-2013. However, last season he was back to his best, and was phenomenal for the European champions, with his great passing ability and control.

CAM – James Rodriguez

Currently enjoying an absolutely amazing World Cup campaign with Colombia, Rodriguez has been attracting pretty much all of Europes elite, and Real Madrid are said to be massively interested in the star. It will cost a fortune to prize him away from Monaco, but Madrid have huge spending power, and it’s more than likely that they will be able to pull it off.

LW – Cristiano Ronaldo

Currently the best player on the planet, Ronaldo doesn’t even need to be included in this list, as it’s so blatantly obvious that he’ll be the first name of the teamsheet for Madrid. After enjoying his best Champions League season ever, he’ll be up and raring to go for next season.

RW – Gareth Bale

Another shoe-in, Bale was phenomenal for Madrid last season, in his first season on Spanish soil, and with his ‘heir to the throne’ label, meaning heir to Cristiano Ronaldos throne, there is no way that a player of his quality will be left out of the team by Ancelotti.

ST – Radamel Falcao

Another Monaco player that Madrid have been heavily linked with, many news outlets have reported that this is already a done deal, which would push in-form Karim Benzema to the bench. Falcao would be a fantastic addition for Madrid, as he’s easily one of the best strikers in the world.
