2009 was a very devastating and upsetting year for Rihanna, who would go on to learn that the man she had called her boyfriend for three years turned out to be woman beating maniac. Following her split fromChris Brown that same year, Rihanna went on to find love again when she was introduced to Drake. The couple have shared an on-again, off-again romance for the past couple of years but it is believed that Rihanna thanks the rapper for helping her get out of the depressive mood she was in after she was viciously attacked by her ex. While Drake and Rihanna are currently not seeing one another, they still remain friends.
