8. Bedlington Terrier
The Bedlington Terrier may be unattractive to some, but mostly it’s just so strange-looking that we had to include it on this list. Its body is completely bent at an angle and its fur grows in a very interesting pattern. Weighing in at about 23 pounds on average and living for 12-13 years, this breed does not come cheap. A puppy will cost you about $1,500, not to mention the onslaught of optometric health problems that the Bedlington Terriers face. They’re one of the rarest breeds around, and also one of the most unique.
