Celebs who will never get married : Let’s face it. Marriage isn’t for everyone. Some people truly prefer to be single and have romantic trysts with whomever they please, without the restriction of commitment. Then there are those who are actually afraid of commitment, and mask their fear with excessive partying and flings. Perhaps these two groups of people are one in the same, for the most part.

Some of these people have lived so long without a spouse that they doubt they will ever get married. It’s pretty safe to say that some of these individuals are happy with the lives they’ve created for themselves, while some have pretty much given up on “happily ever after.”

As we know, there are some celebrities who swore off marriage, but later ended up finding “the one.”George Clooney and Cameron Diaz are two celebs who come to mind. They both married recently after being pretty clear about their aversion to monogamy. This is proof that there’s hope for hopeless romantics (and serial daters) after all. You just never know when love is going to come into your life. However, there are a few celebs that we truly don’t think will ever tie the knot. Here are 10 celebrities who probably won’t get hitched any time soon.

10. Mary-Louise Parker It seems that actress Mary-Louise Parker isn’t opposed to long-term relationships, but she’s definitely not in a hurry to get married. Parker had a son with fellow actor Billy Crudup, in 2004. The actors were in a relationship seven years and broke up before their son was born, but never married. Mary-Louise Parker moved on to a new relationship with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, her Weeds co-star, but the two ended their romance after a few years. Parker is also known for her work on classic films such as Fried Green Tomatoes and Boys On The Side . She also starred in the movies RED and RED 2 .

9. John Cusack John Cusack is a talented actor who shines in both comedic and serious roles. He made his debut in the 1980s in the movie Sixteen Candles . He and his sisters, Joan and Ann, have been in the business for years, and in addition to being an actor, John is also a producer and screenwriter. Cusack is a pretty interesting guy. He trained in kickboxing for about 20 years, and originally started the training for his role in Say Anything . John also blogged for Huffington Post for two years, and beautifully articulated his political views to spur readers into thought-provoking conversation. Cusack, however, hasn’t found a wife to share all these interesting things with. However, he has had a number of long-term relationships with fellow actors that he managed to keep out of the spotlight. John Cusack has been romantically linked to Neve Campbell, Minnie Driver and Lili Taylor, his Say Anything co-star.

8. Lauren Graham Lauren Graham is well-known for the self-sufficient, yet love-starved women that she plays on television. Whether you know her as “the mom” from Gilmore Girls or “the sister” on Parenthood , it’s easy to see that Graham is great at playing layered and complex characters. Lauren has been romantically linked to fellow actors Matthew Perry, Tate Donovan and Marc Blucas, but never tied the knot with any of them. She’s currently dating Peter Kraus, who plays her brother on Parenthood . Luckily, the show just ended its long run, so maybe the public will view their relationship in a less weird way. Kraus and Graham have been dating since 2010, and there’s a good chance they’ll stay together without getting hitched.

Kylie Minogue Kylie Minogue is an Australian pop star who has experienced significant success in the U.S. It has become apparent that she’s much more focused on her career than she is on becoming a wife. However, Minogue has had some long-term relationships. She dated Michael Hutchence of the band INXS, in the 1980s. Kylie was also in a relationship with stunning actor Olivier Martinez, from 2002 to 2007. Martinez went on to marry Halle Berry. This could indicate that Minogue was the one who didn’t want to get hitched when she was dating Olivier. The Martinez/Berry union also speaks to Olivier’s ability to “influence” a woman. Remember when Halle Berry said she’d never get married again after the Eric Benet saga? Looks like Kylie missed out—or maybe she’s fine with her ex moving on and getting married.

6. Al Pacino Al Pacino doesn’t exactly have a reputation for being a warm, family man. After all, he is the “’Godfather.” Pacino has never been married, and since he’s in his 70s, we doubt that he’s going to get hitched at this point in his life. Al Pacino does, however, have three children. He has one child with acting coach Jan Tarrant, and two children with actress Beverly D’Angelo, who is currently starring in the movie Vacation . Al Pacino also had a number of Hollywood relationships, including one with actressDiane Keaton. Keaton and Pacino have worked together, and she has stated that the two are still friends.

Crow has never been one to do things conventionally, and she decided that she wanted to become a mother, even if she didn’t necessarily have a traditional family. She adopted two boys, and often takes them on the road with her. What a cool way to grow up.

Rice got a little more media attention than she wanted when it was assumed that she and President Bush’s relationship was more than professional. Rice was once engaged in the 1970s to Rick Upchurch, who played in the NFL. That sounds like a pretty interesting power couple, but unfortunately, the relationship ended. From what we know, Condoleezza never got engaged to anyone else, and started to focus on being a respected figure in politics.

3. Ricky Gervais Funnyman Ricky Gervais has been with his girlfriend Jane Fallon, for more than 30 years. He has stated that their friends and family used to ask quite often when the two of them were planning on getting married. Gervais, who is an atheist, has said that he doesn’t see the point of exchanging vows in front of God, because “there is no God.” Obviously, Fallon feels the same way, since she’s been by his side for over three decades. The couple may be on to something, since that’s longer than a lot of people stay married, whether they’re in Hollywood or not.

2. Hugh Grant Charming British actor, Hugh Grant has never tied the knot, but we’re pretty sure there were some women who were more than willing to be his wife. He’s pretty much stayed out of trouble since that “incident” with prostitute Divine Brown, in the 1990s, and has continued to capture the hearts of his fans in movies. He often plays the mean guy who is scared of vulnerability, until he meets a woman who can soften his heart. Grant was in a 13-year relationship with model and actress Elizabeth Hurley, but the two remained good friends after their breakup. In fact, when Hurley had her son, Hugh became the godfather. If he can stay with a woman as hot as Elizabeth Hurley and not get married, it looks like he may never take on the role of husband.

She and Stedman must be doing something right; their relationship has lasted longer than a lot of Hollywood marriages.
