Together with Howard Wolowitz, a mechanical engineer, and Rajesh Koothrappali, an astrophysicist, they spend their time doing stereotypical nerdy activities such as shopping for comic books, playing video games and watching science fiction movies.

10. A Bee Was Named After The Show
According to the NY Daily News, a Brazilian biologist named a species of bee “Euglossa Bazinga,” after Sheldon Cooper’s catchphrase, “Bazinga.”
Biologist Andre Nemesio said that he decided to name the bee after Sheldon’s catchphrase because the bee was “clever” like Sheldon, tricking scientists for some time with its similarity to other species. His findings were published in 2013, in the zoological taxonomist journal, Zootaxa.
