Raj has a very particular problem when it comes to women: he is so shy that he only has the confidence to talk to them after he has been drinking.
It turns out that creators of The Big Bang Theory did not completely make up Raj’s problem: executive producer Bill Prady could not talk to women unless drunk while he worked at a computer company. Talk about life imitating art!
