Star Jones married opportunist Al Reynolds in 2004, and soon after rumors began to swirl that Reynolds was a closeted gay man looking to obtain his 15 minutes of fame. He quickly gained the nickname of “Big Gay Al” (apparently Jones coined the term). They divorced messily in 2004 and Reynolds still refuses to comment on his sexuality (which is his right), but according to his now ex-wife he is batting for the other team and Jones was just a way for him to capitalize on fame.
