Perhaps this explains why celebrities are driven and desperate to have this in their garage. Founded by Ettore Bugatti, these cars are a work of fine French beauty. To be precise, Ettore comes from a long line of artists and as a result, he described himself as a constructor and an artist at the same time. This is where the inspiration for the amazing Bugatti designs emanate.
His death in 1947 signaled the end of the original Bugatti concept, and since his son passed in 1939, there wasn’t an heir to the throne. The company struggled until Volkswagen purchased it in 1998. Since then Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S has been quite the spectacle in production and on the road. The last Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, named La Finale was sold in 2015 February.
