7. Kenneth and Tracey Edmonds
Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds is one of the most well-known singers and producers in R&B, even though most of his memorable work was done in the 1990s and early 2000s. Edmonds married Tracey, who was a video model, after they met on the set of Babyface’s music video for Whip Appeal. Of course, there was speculation that Tracey was only marrying Edmonds for his money. However, shortly after the two married, Tracey Edmonds made a name for herself as a film producer when she produced the 1997 movie Soul Food. She was even one of the production forces behind Soul Food, when it became an HBO series. Babyface and Tracey divorced in 2005, and in an interview with Oprah, Kenneth admits that he was never really in love with his ex-wife. Maybe that’s why it’s so easy for the two to continue working together. The former couple have a production company called Edmonds Entertainment, and the projects they choose to get behind tend to do quite well. Tracey has since been linked to Eddie Murphy and most recently Deion Sanders.
