#9. Fernando Couto
Fernando Couto, the former Portuguese centre-back, enjoyed a relatively successful career. In a career that spawned for 21 years, Couto played for the likes of Porto, Parma and Barcelona. He is also one of the most capped players, but back in 2001 his career was somehow tainted. He failed a drug test while he was playing for Lazio, after test showed that nandrolone was present in his urine sample. Couto served 4 months out of a 9 month ban and was fined $60,000.
