Like any spiritual concept, there is really no scientific proof to indicate that reincarnation is possible or not. However there have been multiple, strange encounters and stories in favor of reincarnation.

Many people, particularly young children, sometimes come up with abstract, detailed information about past lives. They seem to have detailed knowledge of events and/or periods of time that they couldn’t organically have known about. Some of the people who remember past lives can actually remember their former names and their families’ former names, where they lived, and how they died. Could all of this just be a really strange coincidence? Or is it possible that these people truly have been reborn. 10. A Murdered Boy Finds His Own Killer A three-year old boy from Golan Heights began telling his family he had been murdered in a past life. The boy had a long, red birthmark on his head. He was part of a community of people believing in the Druze faith. The Druze are adamant believers of reincarnation so were open to the little boy’s claims. They apparently took the boy through different villages to try to spike his memory. At a point in his search, he stopped and walked over to a man from the village they were visiting. He addressed him by his name and the man responded. He then told the man that he was once his neighbor and that he had killed him with an axe. The man reportedly turned white. Then the boy said he even knew where he had been buried and led the people to spot where a body with an axe wound was uncovered from the earth.

9. Steve Jobs – A Celestial Warrior? Has Steve Jobs already been reincarnated? The Apple CEO died in 2011 after his fight with cancer. The news was lamented across the world as well as amongst his friends and family.

Tony Tseung, a software engineer at Apple, reportedly sought out some piece of mind regarding Mr. Jobs death by contacting a group of Buddhist monks in Thailand. The group responded explaining that Steve Jobs has been reincarnated as a celestial warrior-philosopher. Seems fitting enough right?

They continued on, insisting that Mr. Jobs hasn’t gone too far. In fact, he is sitting right above his old office at the Apple Headquarters in Cupertino, California in a glass palace. He is also, apparently tended to by multiple servants. Sounds a little far fetched to me but I suppose if anyone would have earned a lavish afterlife it would be Steve Jobs.

8. World War II Memories A little boy named James Leininger from Louisiana began to remember a past life when he was just two years old. James began having horrific, recurring nightmares that woke him in the night. The dreams were of him being trapped in a crashing plane. When he was three years old, he told his parents that he had been a pilot whose plane had been shot down by the Japanese. He gave his parents some very detailed information. He said his name had been Jack Huston and that his plane had flown off a boat named Natoma and that he had been shot down at Iwo Jima. He also had a friend by the name of Jack Larsen. James’ father went on to discover that a man named James Huston from the USS Natoma Bay had indeed had his plane shot down during the Iwo Jima operation. James’ father used an online World War II database to search information and found a Jack Larsen was also aboard the Natoma Bay.

When James father was looking at a book about the battle at Iwo Jima, little James became interested in an aerial photograph of the area, he pointed at it and told his father where his plane was shot down.

After James turned three he drew hundreds of ships and planes and battles. When James’ father attended a Natoma Bay reunion he learned that only one pilot from Natoma Bay had been killed during Iwo Jima and his name had been James Huston.

Little James also gave extensive information about James Huston’s family life . He was able to name Huston’s two siblings, their ages, and the fact that their father had been an alcoholic. The information was later verified by James Huston’s sister who was still alive. Creepy!

7. Boy Born As His Own Grandfather Gus Taylor was a young boy whose grandfather had died one year before he was born. When Gus was a little over a year old he began saying that he was his grandfather. After he turned four, while looking at old family photographs he was able to identify himself in them, he pointed to the image of his grandfather.

The other creepy thing about this particular case was that Gus, at four-years old, began to talk about his dead sister. Gus’s grandfather had a sister who had been murdered and dumped in the San Francisco Bay.

The fate of Gus’s grandfather’s sister was not discussed in the family so it was very strange that little Gus could have known anything about it let alone refer to her as his sister.

6. A Baby Reborn? A woman named Lisa had a son called Kevin who had died when he was just a child. He had undergone various treatments in his short life. The first signs of Kevin having problems began at 16 months of age. He appeared to have a limp. He fell one day and the doctors said he had a broken leg. They put Kevin’s leg in a cast but he was in so much pain that it was removed. An orthopedic surgeon took additional X-Rays and it was determined that he had a tumor in his leg. Upon making this realization, the doctors found an additional tumor above his right ear. More tests found various lesions and an opaque area over his right eye. Kevin had a biopsy and began chemotherapy, but he died shortly after.

Lisa remarried later and had another baby girl and a baby boy named Patrick years later. Lisa reported that she immediately felt a connection between Patrick and Kevin. And strangely enough, so too did Patrick. Patrick began speaking about Kevin’s life when he got old enough to talk. Lisa also noted that Patrick had a limp in the same leg as Kevin had had, and that he was actually blind in his left eye, something that had happened to Kevin shortly before he died. Patrick had a lump above his right ear in the same place as doctors had found Kevin’s tumors. Patrick knew information about Kevin’s life, he was able to describe the house he had lived in, and the family dog they no longer had. It really seems as though young Patrick may have been the reincarnation of his half-brother Kevin.

5. Hollywood Hauntings An Oklahoma boy named Ryan began telling his mother that he was homesick regularly and pleading with her to take him home to Hollywood. His mother took some books out of the library about Hollywood and upon seeing a picture of an old black and white movie name Night After Night , Ryan pointed out a picture of a man and said “that’s me!”

He saw pictures of Rita Hayworth and fondly recalled memories he had of her. Ryan recalled a scene from the movie he said he was in about guns in a closet. His mother found the movie on YouTube and watched it only to find that there was indeed a scene with a closet full of guns. A researcher found out who the actor was and was able to find up some information about his life.

Ryan said that he used to dance on Broadway in New York which happened to be a true detail of the man whose life he was remembering. It was also confirmed that the man had had several connections to Rita Hayworth. Ryan was able to recall details of his former family which turned out to be true of the actors’ life. He knew he had many children but didn’t know that they were his, the man whose life he was recalling had one daughter of his own but also multiple stepchildren. Ryan told his parents details about his life after death but before birth. He knew his mother was disappointed when she found out he was not going to be a girl. His mother was shocked as she had indeed been hoping for a baby girl.

4. A Sore Throat From An Old Injury Four-year-old Edward Austrian complained often of a sore throat. He told his mother very detailed stories of being a solider during World War I. He explained that he had been shot in the throat and died. His mother took him to the doctor to have the pain in his throat checked. The doctors could not find any reason why his throat was sore, but as a precaution, the doctor decided to remove Edward’s tonsils. After they had been removed, a cyst developed in the back of his throat. Doctors were unsure of how to treat it. As Edward’s parent encouraged him to discuss the former life he was recalling, the pain seemed to dissipate, as did the cyst, something his doctors had no explanation for. Is it possible that the wounds of a dead man were somehow slowly healing in a new body?

3. A New Family Meets An Old One A young girl named Ampan reported memories of a former life at five years old. She told her mother she wanted to go home, but her mother said that she was already home and asked her what she meant. Ampan told her she was talking about Buhom, which was a neighboring village. Her parents had never been to Buhom and didn’t know anyone from there. Ampan told her parents that she had died in a hospital of Dengue fever. She said her name had been Somwong.

When Ampan was eight, her family attended a religious event in the village of Buhom. Upon their arrival in Buhom, Ampan led her mother to a home and said it had been hers. A woman came to the door and Ampan called her mother. This woman had had a daughter named Somwong who had died in hospital of Dengue fever. The woman allowed Ampan and her family inside and Ampan asked for an amulet that Somwong had owned and gave directions of where to find it. The amulet was where she had said it would be. Apparently Ampan continued to visit her previous family regularly.

At three years old, Olivia told her mother that her name used to be Daisy Robinson. She had once had different parents, and that all the air had gone out of her stomach and she had died. Some time later, she told her mother that she died because she hadn’t eaten. Her mother thought this was interesting as Olivia had always had a huge appetite. Olivia recalled information from the time of her previous life. She said she had lived in a small village in England where everyone knew each other. When her mother asked her what happened when she died, she said very seriously that she went into thin air and was turned into dust before coming back again. Her mother was quite unnerved by the intense look she had on her young face while explaining.

It was said that once under hypnosis, Virgina began to speak with a thick Irish accent. It is said that she recalled Irish songs and stories while under hypnosis. She said she was born in 1798 and had been called Bridey Murphy. She spoke about her family and her husband.

Morey Bernstein recorded the sessions and wrote a bestselling book about the tale. However when reporters were sent to Ireland to investigate the existence of a woman by that name and during that time, they did not find any significant information to corroborate the story. Was Virginia making it all up or were the records simply not extensive?
