2. Brendan Shanahan – Wife Swap

While playing for the St. Louis Blues, the young hockey star came across the wife of one of his teammates, Craig Janney. Shanahan began to have an affair with Janney’s wife which led to the divorce of the Janneys and the creation of the “Shanahan’s.” That’s right, Brendan Shanahan not only stole his teammate’s wife, he fell in love and married her. Now, at least the Shanahan’s have been married for many years and have three children together. So, in some way, there is a silver lining here. What is more interesting is that the Hockey Hall of Fame did make Shanahan, a sure fire Hall of Famer, wait an extra year to hear his name picked. Rumors were floated that they did that on purpose because of the Janney scandal from years prior.
