2. Sable vs. Jacqueline
They’re a lot more lenient regarding nudity in Europe, so it makes sense that when the WWE was feeling its way into the Attitude Era, it would test out some of its sexier ideas in Europe before trying them in the United States. Such was the case at Capital Carnage, a UK-only pay-per-view held in 1998, almost a full year before The Kat lost her top stateside. Jacqueline, a decent wrestler and talker who probably would have gone much further in today’s female wrestling climate than in the Attitude Era, did what she had to do and agreed to get her top ripped off in a post-match fracas with Sable. How Jacqueline got on the referee’s shoulder for this to happen is a mystery, but seeing Tim White run around with a topless women on his shoulders was hilarious, and yes, sexy.
