Rusev began his WWE career very hot and went nearly a year undefeated. However, recently he has flamed out and has been involved in lackluster programs. His recent run is an indication of where his career will be – as a mid-upper mid-card wrestler. I’m sure WWE will keep putting him in “Money in the Bank” or “Elimination Chamber” matches to give the notion he might one day win the WWE Championship, but as long as he’s involved in silly and pointless feuds involving Lana and Summer Rae, that’s not going to happen.
