It’s a shame Barrett landed on this list, as he should have already have held the WWE Championship. At one point Barrett was a sure-fire future Champion in the minds of WWE fans, though that thought process has changed. Barrett continues to have pointless feuds and is settling in as a career upper mid-card wrestler. The most recent example is him winning the King of the Ring and WWE doing absolutely nothing with him with the storylines. Just like his King of the Ring victory becoming an afterthought, his chances of becoming a WWE Champion are too.
