2. Appearance On Bustas

In 2008, a young Tyga appeared on the ill-fated MTV show, Bustas. On the show Tyga brags about not growing up too hard and having parents with expensive cars. The clip has been referenced by multiple news outlets to question Tyga’s seemingly fictitious background in Compton. In the clip, Tyga raps, “T-Y-G-A, they say I’m not hood cuz I stay in the valley, they say I’ve never been in the alley, tell them cats, huh, I been in the alley.” Truly groundbreaking stuff. Needless to say, the show featured Tyga’s signature bad style, corniness and questionable rapping. The added bonus is that you get to see Tyga dancing to “Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It” in front of a green screen. Easily the most watchable television that Tyga has been a part of.
