7. Alan Shearer, 138 km/h

Alan Shearer is among England’s greatest strikers. He played for Southampton, Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United during his 18-year career. Shearer was a prolific scorer, with a keen key for the goal. He scored a lot of goals during his playing career, but his free-kick against Leicester City in a match in 1997 was absolutely fantastic. The shot was clocked at 138 km/h. Shearer scored a hat-trick in that match, giving Newcastle a 4-3 win over the Foxes.
