5. Amanda Seyfried
Amanda Seyfried, originally from Pennsylvania, began acting in high school and started modeling even before that. She landed a role in a soap opera when she was a teenager, and found bigger roles as she grew older. She caught her first big break with movies when she was chosen to star in Mean Girls, and even put off college to film the movie. However, she lost the roles she originally auditioned for. However, she worked back from being chosen for another role and made her character one of the most memorable from the film. She is a triple threat, showing both acting talent, model-worthy talent, and a beautiful singing voice.
4. Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence has fought her way into the hearts of America in the past few years. Cast as the lead heroine in the The Hunger Games series, she has secured her status as one of the most loved actresses in Hollywood. She not only landed a role in those movies, but also with the X-Men franchise. The Kentucky native is bold, funny, and unfiltered, something that resonates with people across the country. She may be in Hollywood but she has that clumsy girl next door approachability about her and we love her for it. How could we not?
