President Muhammadu Buhari has been spotted in his hometown of Daura in Katsina state where he is presently on a four-day visit.
The president left Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital, just hours after signing the controversial 2016 budget into law, much the relief of Nigerians, for his hometown to open and participate in the Katsina State Economic and Investment Summit, aimed at diversifying the state’s ailing economy.
He was received by the state governor, Alhaji Aminu Masari, who had earlier encouraged indigenes of the state to troop out en masse to welcome their son.
