Christian Serratos - Christian Serratos simply does not get enough attention. The 26-year-old actress plays Rosita Espinosa on The Walking Dead, but on the show, she’s often overshadowed by other strong female characters like Maggie, Michonne or Sasha, all of whom get more screen time than Serratos’ character. Oh, and she’s also hot as hell. Even on a show about the zombie apocalypse, where showers are rare and blow dryers are even rarer, she’s a smokebomb. It also helps that she dresses in some of the most skimpy outfits on the show. Seriously, her clothes seem like what a guy would think women would wear during a zombie apocalypse. We’re not dissing her Lara Croft-esque outfits by any means. We’re just saying that midriff-baring tops probably wouldn’t be the first thing you’d rock with zombies around but hey, we’re not complaining. Serratos All Done Up After being so used to seeing Serratos without her hair or makeup fully done on The Walking Dead , it may be slightly jarring to see her so done up. But, she sure does look good all done up, if we do say so ourselves. If you think she’s hot on the show, we bet this photo is a winner for you. Between the plunging black dress, dramatic eye makeup and pop of a colorful lipstick, Serratos is rocking this look. It’s too bad her character isn’t able to get full-on glamorized on the show. Though, like we said, she’s still a knockout with her fresh face and pigtails fighting through hordes of zombies. Serratos can truly look good dressed up or dressed down. 14. The Girl Gets Glamorized This is about as far from Rosita Espinosa as Christian Serratos can get. Obviously, her hair and makeup are done. She’s wearing a deep red lipstick, which looks amazing with her hair color and skin tone. Getting even further away from Rosita, Serratos also has her nails done. Manicures are not something one has the luxury of enjoying during the zombie apocalypse. Serratos is also in the beautiful, silver dress, which Rosita would never wear for two reasons. The first reason being that running in a dress is difficult. When those zombies are coming, no way Rosita would risk being slowed down by a restrictive dress. The second reason this dress is not really Rosita’s style is obviously because there’s no midriff showing. Rosita would take a pair of low-cut jeans and tiny tank top over this look any day of the week. 13. Serratos Staying In Bed Let’s get the obvious issue out of the way here: no one wakes up looking like that. We women just don’t. Serratos has perfectly curled hair and a precise red lip color. Do you know what happens if you go to sleep with red lipstick on? It ends up on your pillowcase and smeared across your cheeks. The reality of the photo aside, Serratos makes you want to stay in bed all day with her. Seriously, what in the world was Abraham thinking when he broke up with her? We’ll never know. The juxtaposition of the red lip with the crisp white sheets also adds to the aesthetic appeal of the photo. There’s also Serratos’ face, which is mega aesthetically appealing on its own too. 12. Serratos As Rosita Ah, the Rosita we were introduced to. We met Rosita Espinosa, along with Eugene and Abraham, at the very end of season 4, episode 10. They help Tara and Glenn in a dire situation but when he wakes up, Glenn is reluctant to accept their help. He only has one thing on his mind: finding Maggie. Meanwhile, Rosita and Abraham want to get Eugene to Washing D.C. so he can cure the zombie virus. Yeah, it was when everyone still thought Eugene had the cure. You’d think Glenn would have pressed him about that more considering Glenn’s experience at the CDC. We’ll let that slide, though, since Glenn is now dearly departed. In the beginning, Rosita seems to be the most levelheaded of their group. Both Eugene and Abraham had their own odd way of talking and very strong personalities. Rosita, on the other hand, was capable, fair and kind. She was the first to call out Glenn, who was forcing Tara to continue walking despite her injured leg. 11. Baby Serratos Ah, baby Christian Serratos. Even though she’s younger here, she’s still a total hottie. She’s lucky to have not gone through a severe awkward stage while growing up in the entertainment business, because those photos never go away. Now that she doesn’t go the whole tanning route, Serratos’ skin tone against her dark hair makes her beautiful features really pop. Twilight Era Photoshoot This photo comes from a photoshoot done around the time of Twilight , which is explained with a quote – “I’d be a vampire over a werewolf, they’re cooler.” On that note, we totally agree with Serratos. The whole eternal life bit of being a vampire is extremely appealing. Never seeing the sun again may get old quickly, but never aging and living 1,000 years would quickly make up for that. The photo itself is super hot with Serratos wearing a see-through lace shirt and underwear. Side note: super sexy photoshoots are always taking place in bathrooms. Whether it’s a woman brushing her teeth or lounging around the bathtub, they look super sexy. In real life, women look hot maybe .01% of the time in the bathroom. The bathroom is the place where the magic happens, not the place where we lounge around looking hot. 9. Pulling Off Blonde While her darker hair is totally flattering with her skin tone, she can rock blonde hair too. A bit like how Jessica Alba looks good no matter what, Serratos seems to have that gene as well. In this photo, her bright lips and bright dress are certainly popping against her lighter hair color. Between the time of her role in the Twilight films and her role on The Walking Dead , Serratos appeared in the pilot of American Horror Story , which sometimes rivals The Walking Dead in gore factor. Serratos may have been born for the spotlight. Growing up in Burbank, she began ice skating at just 3 years old, which she continued to do competitively for quite sometime. In fact, her coaches were even talking about training her for the Olympics. Now Serratos just ice skates for fun. Like we said, the girl was just destined to be famous somehow. 7. Red Carpet Perfection She may not be rocking some serious side-boob in this look, but it’s hot nonetheless. This strapless grey dress fits Serratos’ body like a glove. Serratos manages to have a thin but curvy body, which most people can agree is the ideal body type these days. Though, all bodies are totally beautiful, ladies! While she was introduced in season 4, it wasn’t until season 5 that Serratos was made a series regular on The Walking Dead . This current season (season 7) Serratos’ name finally appears in the main credits. She can probably thank Steven Yeun’s exit for the fact that it freed up some opening credit space. Err, we don’t mean that Glenn’s death was a good thing for Serratos. Or, do we? We’re confused. Okay, moving on. Checking out the above photo, it probably doesn’t surprise anyone that she was ranked #65 on Maxim’s Hot 100 list in 2010. 6. Rosita Playing With Knives This picture seems like a guy’s fantasy. Serratos is wearing a shirt low enough to show off her cleavage and has her hair in pigtails. Oh, and there’s also the leather gloves and the fact that she’s playing with a knife. We get it. Serratos/Rosita, you’re a hottie. The fact that her onscreen character has eaten whatever she had to in order to survive, even dog meat, may lead people to be surprised that she’s a huge animal rights activist. She’s even posed for a number of PETA campaigns promoting veganism. Vegetarianism doesn’t seem all that rare in their cast, as Norman Reedus has recently stated that he’s a vegetarian. Yup, Daryl Dixon himself is a vegetarian. Didn’t see that one coming, did you guys? 5. Red Lip And Garter Belt This photo shoot was just beyond hot. Serratos is rocking a bold, red lip with her hair and makeup perfectly done. The extremely bright background just adds to the glamour of the shoot. Really tuning into that old Hollywood glamour, Serratos is also rocking a black dress and black garter belt stocking. While garter belts may be a bit old school at this point, there is just something so unbelievably hot about them. Considering how drop dead gorgeous she looks here, it’s hard to imagine why Abraham broke up with her. We get that he had a connection with Sasha or whatever, but who in their right mind would break up with Christian Serrotas? Look at her! Not to mention that the way in which he broke up with her was really harsh. He actually said, “When I first met you, I thought you were the last woman on earth. You’re not.” Ouch. It’s good to know that guys will still break your heart during a zombie apocalypse. 4. Serratos’ Red Carpet Glam Is it just me or does Christian Serratos look a little bit like Jessica Alba in this one? She does, right? They could totally play sisters in a movie – and it would be perhaps the hottest sisters in any movie ever. After Abraham’s rough break up, Rosita moved on by hooking up with Spenser Monroe, Deanna’s son. While he’s certainly physically attractive, it’s hard to really define his character. He’s shown to have strength in some scenes, like when he puts down the zombified version of his mother. In other scenes, his weakness is displayed, like when he stops the Alexandrians from raiding the food pantry, only to then takes alcohol for himself and get drunk. We suppose time will tell if Spenser becomes a strong member of the group or, well, y’know… dead. 3. A Seriously Hot Red Carpet Dress This is another one Serratos’ hottest red carpet looks. The light seafoam color is complimentary and the cut of the dress really shows off her beautiful curves. Serratos is wearing her usual red carpet style: hair down, a fresh makeup look and a pop of color on her lips. Hey, when you know a look works for you, work it hard. While Rosita may have rebounded with Spenser in the television show, her character takes a different route in the comic books. In the comics, Abraham also leaves her for another woman and passes away a short time later. Then, Rosita finds solace in Eugene. Yep, she hooks up with Eugene and the pair eventually get married. We know, mind blown, right? We’re glad the show went in a different direction. Their friendship is precious and them hooking up may feel a little weird, especially after the scene where Eugene watches Rosita and Abraham have sex. 2. Blue On Blue Not that we want to compare Christian Serratos to a Kardashian but she does resemble Kim K just a little bit here. With a smoky eye shadow, her long, dark hair curled, and a curve-hugging dress, she’s channeling many of Kim’s go-to looks in this photo. Moving on though, because this is about how hot Christian Serratos is, not about Kim K. Since the comic books are far beyond the show, we know much about her character’s progression via the comics. Of course, the show could go in a different direction, as they do from time to time. That being said, in the comics, she survives through the whole war with Negan. Rosita then tell Eugene that she’s pregnant but the baby isn’t his. Eugene tells Rosita that he’ll care for the baby and to not tell the real father. Way to score some sweet points Eugene. Who the baby’s father is still remains a mystery, so your guess is as good as mine. 1. Making Chewing Gum Look So Good Chewing gum never looked so good. In this photoshoot, Serratos is posing in lacy, blue underwear and chewing up. And, she looks hella hot doing it. Sadly, Rosita is dead in the comic books. After taking down the threat of the Saviors, another threat appears (duh) in the form of The Whisperers. These are people who wear walker skin so as to blend in with the walkers. They will literally walk with the zombies in their herds, whispering to each other so the walkers don’t notice. This is how they earned their name the Whisperers. The leader of the Whisperers, Alpha, disguises herself as a member of Alexandria. She then leads people away to decapitate them and put their head on a spike. This is exactly how Rosita meets her dead, meaning her unborn child is dead as well. The Walking Dead is never too kind to expecting mothers. Whether the show will go this way or not remains to be seen. We’re still dealing with Negan so the Whisperers seem to be a far way off. If Christian Serratos does exit the show though, one thing is for sure – The Walking Dead will be a whole lot less sexy without her.
