The book is published annually, updating previous records with new ones, but some world records are made to never be broken by people who have a unique, special talent which they were born with.
There is a wide variety of records which people challenge for each year, from most hot-dogs eaten in a minute to, well, most toilet seats broken with your head. It is always interesting to find out about what the human body can do and how certain people use it to their advantage. They reach new horizons with unforeseen results and the intention of dominating a certain sector to which they devote to for years in order to become the very best.
12. The Fastest Man In The World
Who doesn’t know about the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt? In 2009, he was declared “The World’s Fastest Runner” due to his incredible performance at Rio’s 100m lap sprint which was completed in less than 10 seconds with a top speed of 45 km/h.
Bolt won 3 different gold medals for the 200m run (19 seconds) and the four 100m laps finished in just 37 seconds, speeds which were believed impossible to be achieved by today’s human. But the 30-year-old Jamaican sprinter managed to defeat these principles through his unbelievable agility which proved everyone wrong.
Bolt was the first athlete to win multiple consecutive Olympic titles and was declared the athlete of the year in 2008, shocking millions with his rare talent.
