Silva’s has quickly become a player renowned for his exceptional technical ability and a footballing intelligence that belies his relatively young age. While he is capable of playing on the left of midfield or through the middle in the hole, his best position is considered to be wide right where he is able to cut in on his left foot, often to devastating effect. It’s likely he will prove to David Silva’s natural heir at Man City, with the Spanish international turning 32 in January.
