Dr. Deji Adeleke was married to Dr. Vero Adeleke. His wife (Davido’s mother) worked as a lecturer at Babcock University. Unfortunately, she passed away in 2003. Two children were produced by the couple. The son is David Adeleke (now the famous Nigerian singer Davido), and daughter is Sharon Adeleke (she is also called Coco).

As for his attitude towards his son and superstar Davido, Mr. Adeleke showed a firmness of character. He insisted that Davido had to graduate from school and obtain a certificate, despite the fact that his musical career was gaining momentum.

Another thing that should also be noted is Dr. Deji Adeleke’s reverent care for his granddaughter Imade, from Davido and Sophie Momodu. He protected the kid from her parents’ scandals.

Adedeji Adeleke had an elder brother, Isiaka Adeleke. He was, at one point, a Senator and a Governor of Osun State. Isiaka Adeleke died in April 2017.
