According to Teleperformance website ; “Due to global changes in the way visa application are processed, children under 5 years old are now required to attend the Visa Application Centre to complete the application process. It is now mandatory for them to have their photo taken at the VAC. These changes do not affect already submitted applications.”
Passports and other application requirements are to be submitted Mondays to Fridays between 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M except on public holidays in Lagos and Abuja UK Application Center.

It takes within four to six working days to process a visa application. Some visa applications take more time in cases like in crime or history of refusal.
Collection
Your Visa can be collected between 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Mondays to Fridays (Public Holidays not inclusive).
To collect one’s visa, one has to go with ones application checklist, original ID and a photocopy of the data page of ones passport. An SMS will be sent to confirm that the application has been sent to the embassy on the submission day and one will be notified to retrieve the passport on its arrival at the Application Center.
Collection of the documents is done by oneself and if needs are, it can be done by – Government representative, a parent collecting for his child or collecting on behalf of one’s family if you applied together.
