The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, arrived in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, on Monday.
Tinubu’s flight touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and was welcomed by a crowd of supporters.
The President-elect arrived from France in the company of his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, at the presidential wing of the airport to a rousing welcome by party faithful and supporters who had been anticipating his arrival.
Announcing his arrival on Twitter, Bayo Onanuga, the Head of Media Publicity, wrote; “Jagaban lands in Abuja!”
He left the country for France on Tuesday, March 21 to rest and plan the transition programme ahead of his inauguration on May 29.
It was alleged that Tinubu traveled to receive treatments owing to I’ll health.
However, the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council debunked speculations thatTinubu was been rushed abroad for medical treatment.
