Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been sworn in as the 16th President of Nigeria.
According to reports, the former APC Chieftain was inaugurated as Nigeria’s President at Eagle Square in the nation’s capital city, Abuja.
It was gathered that Bola Tinubu took the oath of office with the Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Olukayode Ariwodola in charge.
The oath of office was administered to Tinubu and his deputy, Kashim Shettima at exactly 10:28am and 10:38am respectively.
Tinubu’s predecessors including Muhammadu Buhari and Goodluck Jonathan were present.
Also,, Tinubu’s wife, Remi, Shettima’s wife, Nana, Buhari’s wife, Aisha, new Prime Minister of Gabon, Billy By-Nze, President of the Republic of Cote D’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara; Ghana President, Nana Akufo-Addo; and Rwanda President, Paul Kagame, Akinwumi Adesina, Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Abdulsamad Rabiu, Jim Ovia and others witnessed the oath-taking ceremony,.
