King Charles III and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, were officially crowned as the King and Queen of the United Kingdom in a coronation ceremony held at Westminster Abbey.
The coronation marks the first time such an event has taken place since 1953.
Around 2,200 people, including members of the Royal Family, heads of state, faith leaders, and celebrities, attended the ceremony to witness the historic event.
Following the ceremony, the newly crowned King and Queen processed to Buckingham Palace in a beautiful procession, where they greeted the gathered crowds from the Palace balcony.
The coronation comes following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8, 2022, at Balmoral Castle, United Kingdom.
No official statements from King Charles III or Queen Camilla were released at the time of filing this report.
