President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made significant appointments within his administration, as he announced the appointment of Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, as Chief of Staff.
Alongside Gbajabiamila, Sen. Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, has been named as the Deputy Chief of Staff. In addition, the President has appointed former Governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister of Special Duties, George Akume, as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

Director Information, in a statement, the President made these crucial announcements during a meeting held with the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) on Friday in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The statement reads: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Friday in Abuja announced the appointment of Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff, and Sen. Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, as Deputy Chief of Staff.
“In a meeting with Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), the President also named former Governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister of Special Duties, George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).”
