Davido Slams Critic For Berating Him Over His Refusal To Help A Physically Challenged Hawker

Afrobeat singer, Davido, faced criticism after altering his plans to assist a physically challenged hawker who turned out to be a man in disguise.

Davido initially expressed his intention to help a physically challenged pure water seller who had gained attention on social media.

He called on his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, for assistance.

However, he later discovered that the hawker was a man disguised as a female. In response, he claimed they had been scammed and withdrew his support.

Many people criticized his decision, arguing that the hawker’s gender shouldn’t affect his need for help, especially since he hails from Davido’s state, Osun.

Davido defended his position, suggesting that those who were concerned should step in and help the hawker since his last name is also ‘Adeleke.’
